Tiger Woods Breaking News includes information rolling in which indicates that his mother, Kultilda Woods, is 'angry and disappointed' with her son. Kultilda had to deal with infidelity first hand when Tiger's dad cheated on her while the golfer was still in high school. At the time, the incident touched Tiger greatly, and his high school girlfriend has even come forward to tell the world how upset he was over the incident. She wanted everyone to know that Tiger's life wasn't perfect. Click here to view the video interview of Tiger's high school girlfriend.
Of course, Kultilda is going to support her son no matter what. That's what mothers do. That doesn't take away from the hurt, anger, and embarrassment she must feel. Over the past few years she is said to have grown to like Elin Woods and adores her grandchildren. Click here to read more about how Elin Woods is handling the scandal.
A doctor that has treated Tiger Woods in the past is under investigation for allegedly giving athletes performance enhancing drugs. The golfer has not been identified or implicated as having used these drugs, but critics are calling for increased scrutiny over the golfer's relationship with the doctor. After his knee surgery took longer to heal than it should have, it is said that the doctor in question treated Tiger. Video coverage of the alleged relationship can be found here.
The Observer-Reporter has an interesting take on Tiger's relationship with Anthony Galea, the doctor in question. John Steigerwald says:
There's obviously no proof that Tiger is juiced and probably never will be. That means it's highly unlikely that he could ever be found guilty in court. This isn't court. This is my column, and when I see an athlete who looks bigger and stronger than every other athlete in his sport, and who does super-human things never before seen in his sport and his name is linked to a doctor who is linked to performance enhancing drugs, I'm going with guilty until proven innocent.
Should the PGA Tour scrutinize Tiger's relationship with Galea? If there's no proof or indication that the golfer ever did take any of such drugs, it would prove to be a waste of time to really investigate the claims. If the current scandal wasn't in high swing, it's probably unlikely that Anthony Galea's links to Tiger Woods would even be discussed.
